As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance professional capacity-building in the fields of Islamic financial and banking arbitration, AWJ Financial Services, Consulting and Arbitration announced the participation of a distinguished group of Palestinian professionals in the international training program:

Certified Islamic Arbitrator & Expert (CIAE)

Organized by the International Islamic Centre for Reconciliation and Arbitration (IICRA) during the period from February 4 to 8, 2026, corresponding to 16–20 Sha’ban 1447H.

The program aims to prepare and qualify professional cadres specialized in the resolution and settlement of financial, banking, and investment disputes in compliance with the principles and provisions of Islamic Shariah. This is achieved through the development of participants’ Shariah, legal, and technical knowledge related to institutional arbitration mechanisms and dispute resolution practices within the Islamic finance industry.

The program witnessed broad participation from several Arab and Islamic countries, including the State of Palestine, where a number of distinguished Palestinian professionals took part, including a group of employees and managers from the Arab Islamic Bank. This participation reflects the commitment of national banking institutions to developing and qualifying their human resources in accordance with the latest international professional standards in the field of Islamic financial and banking arbitration.

On this occasion, Dr. Fadi Abu Diak, General Manager of AWJ Financial Services, Consulting and Arbitration, extended his sincere appreciation to the management of the Arab Islamic Bank, represented by Mr. Hani Nasser, General Manager, and Mr. Rateb Attiani, Human Resources Manager, for their continued trust and their ongoing commitment to enhancing training and professional development programs for their staff. Such efforts contribute to improving institutional performance and reinforcing best professional practices within the Islamic financial sector.

Dr. Abu Diak also extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to the International Islamic Centre for Reconciliation and Arbitration (IICRA), represented by its General Manager, Dr. Rami Suleiman, for their fruitful cooperation and pioneering role in supporting training initiatives and professional capacity-building programs in the field of Islamic financial and banking arbitration at both regional and international levels.

AWJ reaffirms its continuous commitment to developing professional competencies in Palestine and the wider Arab region through the delivery and implementation of specialized training programs, as well as through building strategic partnerships with leading international reference institutions. These efforts aim to enhance the capabilities of professionals working in the Islamic financial sector and to keep pace with the rapid developments witnessed in this vital industry.
